On the Go Mums with Denise Van Outen

Last week I was lucky enough to be part of a Three mobile media campaign "On the Go Mums" fronted by Denise Van Outen. I was on the panel with Denise in front of an audience of mums. It was all about how having a smartphone can save mums loads of time and money. This is particularly relevant for me as I would not be able to run my business without on the go access to my emails and internet. Others who have been involved in the campaign include Polly Marsh from Cuddledry and Laura Tennison from Jojo Maman Bebe, so I was very excited to be asked.

I bought a lovely new dress. Then I was advised not to wear a dress because I was going to be on a raised stage and it might not be practical. Boo!

To say I was nervous is putting it mildly! the night before I was like a 5 year old on Christmas Eve. Now I know that celebrities are normal people and blah, blah, blah but they are not are they? It's weird because you kind of feel like you know them, because you have seen them on the telly and in magazines. You know the name of their boyfriend/husband and their baby. You may even know where they went on holiday this year (only the avid magazine junkies). However you don't really know them. They could be completely different to the person you see on the TV.

Denise Van Outen is absolutely lovely, she is completely normal and nice and spent time chatting away to everyone there today. She even asked me where I got my jeans from ;0) (Zara, in case you were wondering too!)and she wants a Babasac for Betsy when I launch, which made my day! Thanks Three for a great day!
